Chicago scholars, a seven year program contains three phases of the program that ensures success. First phase- College Access: Launch, second phase-College Success: Lift, and the third phase- College to Careers: Lead. Throughout each phase, Scholars will be receiving help from mentors, counselors, and Chicago scholars alumni in order to make the transition to college and throughout college smoother.

Chicago Scholars are looking for students who will be a first-generation college student (neither parent graduated from a four-year college in the US) and/or students who come from an under-resourced community,are academically ambitious, motivated, demonstrated leaders in their schools, communities, or homes, committed to furthering their education and have a strong desire to attend a 4-year college, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum ACT score of 20 or PSAT score of 1020. The application deadline is Wednesday, February 13th, 2019.
