Top Flight security

We pay our utmost thanks and respect to those who put their lives on the line every school day, protecting the children that they don’t really know and all faculty members.

Sylvia Williams, a part of PMA’s faculty,  was recently promoted to security guard. Prior to her promotion,  Ms. Williams was known as the custodian.

“I’ve been in the business with the school for the past 18 years and have been doing volunteer work wherever I was needed,” said Williams.

Ms. Williams had been the school custodian for five years and had been offered the job by Mr. Wipachit because she had always told the kids to clear the halls when the bell rings and had already possessed many security guard qualities that made her stand out as a potential candidate for the job. Ms. Williams is also looking forward to this position being permanent.

“Yes I do, I like it a lot,” said Williams when asked if she enjoys her job.

Aside from her position at PMA, she has four children, 3 boys and 1 adopted girl.

“I try to treat every student like they’re one of mine. I’m always here if they need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on, I’m always listening,” said Williams.
