Everyone has something they are very passionate about and senior Alexander Valle has an interest in a specific sport which is baseball.

Valle started playing softball his junior year for Phoenix Military Academy  because baseball is the sport he is really interested in. He now plays softball and baseball to stay active year round.

Although baseball is the sport he is really interested in, softball is very similar to baseball.. They are almost the same sport.

“I watch a lot of baseball and I played baseball before and it’s similar to baseball except a little bit easier,” said Valle.

He has been playing for the school’s baseball team for a year. He started playing softball his junior year because of his interest in baseball.

“I started playing softball junior year, this is my second time with them, so I been playing for a year,” said Valle.

When people are passionate about something they seek to improve themselves.

“I think I can improve on my batting and on getting on base so I can extend a line up for my team,” said Valle.

Valle’s interest in  baseball really motivates him to improve and keep going with his own personal skills to succeed as an individual and as a team.
