Red Sparrow Thriller Review

Imagine one day someone loses the career they love and are then forced to be an undercover agent. On March 2nd, 2018 the movie, Red Sparrow, depicts the life of an undercover agent losing her career as a ballerina. The thriller movie captures the story of, Jennifer Lawrence, Dominika Egorova, decides to become an undercover agent to protect her mother at all costs. Moreover, many fanatics rave of of this thriller because it reminds them of old fashion political thriller movies.

 

The protagonist Dominika, a devoted daughter, is determined to protect her mother at all costs after losing her beloved career as a ballerina. When she suffers a career-ending injury, Dominika and her mother are facing trouble and uncertain future. Throughout the movie, she has pushed her body and mind to the absolute limit to be able to protect her mother. She is taught to use her body and mind as tool to be the best undercover agent she could be. In addition, she became a master of seductive and manipulative combat. That is why she finds herself manipulated into becoming the newest recruit for Sparrow School, a secret intelligence service that trains people like her to use their bodies and minds as weapons.

 

Dominika Egorova, Jennifer Lawrence, emerges as the most dangerous “Sparrow” after completing the training process. As she comes to terms with her new abilities, Dominika meets a CIA agent who tries to convince her that he is the only person she can trust. This movie is an exciting and a thriller that has a surprising ending to it. I would rate this a four out of five stars.
