Naval Academy Summer Seminar
By becoming the next generation of leaders, junior D’ajanae Croft, has taken a step towards navigating her future. Croft, a Naval Academy Summer Seminar applicant, recently was admitted to the program.
“I am intrigued by USNA because of their amazing accomplishments, the environment, the welcoming individuals and their hands on work in the STEM field,” said Croft.
The Naval Academy Summer Seminar, a very competitive program, introduces participants to life at the Academy by experiencing first-class academic, athletic, and professional training. Most participants in this program look forward to enrolling in the academy.
“If I am accepted into USNA, I hope to be a successful midshipman and gain more knowledge about my STEM preferred major and about the Navy in general,” said Croft.
Croft previously attended the Naval Academy Summer Stem program. In addition to her recent acceptance, she has received a scholarship for both the program and airfare. Furthermore, she has applied to the CPS Student Advisory Council, and Jump Start 2 Jobs.
With many opportunities at hand, greatness is already in store. Croft is familiar with the Naval Academy after her recent visit with the STEM program in February.
