Matt Nagy
Matt Nagy is the new head coach for the Chicago bears and is being called steal for the team.
After the Bears parted ways with former coach John Fox, the bears went on a 2 week manhunt for a new head coach following the end of the regular season. Matt Nagy the former offensive coordinator for the Kansas City chiefs has been given the opportunity to take a talented young roster and turn them into a super bowl contender team just like how he did with chiefs the last 4 years they have made the playoffs.
Nagy’s first goal is to transform the bears 1st round draft pick Trubisky into all pro quarterback and by the looks of his resume he did a good job with Alex Smith who has three 4,000 passing yards seasons with him. Nagy is being called a “stud” since he was taught by one the best, head coach Andy Reid.
One of the biggest reasons Nagy was hired is because he will be able to connect with the young because of his age, take for example Sean Mcvay of the Rams who is the youngest coach in NFL history going 11-5 in his first season with a second year starter Jared Goff. Nagy is the right guy to be able achieve the same goal in Chicago.
Nagy is now taking control by hiring his new coaching staff and by the looks of it he will be bringing back some familiar faces to Chicago. It won’t take long until Chicago is back on top and looking more like the 85 Bears.
