The last jedi is the eght installment of the Star Wars Trilogy and Disney’s Second Star Wars Produced movie.

The last jedi has a 90% rotten tomatoes rating from Rottentomatoes.com. It also has a 7.5/10 rating from IMDB.com.

Rian Johnson’s first star wars production was success with a 220 million dollar opening weekend box office. Johnson had a big role fill following JJ Abrams “The force awakens” and fans will not be disappointed in his work. The NY Times said “Rian Johnson Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a satisfying, at times transporting entertainment with visual wit and a distinctly human touch”.

Although receiving some criticism for being called a “Disney version” of star wars after being bought from Lucas films, fans found some plot of the movie to be very disappointing. When interviewed by Collider.com Johnson said he “wouldn’t change a thing” after bad reviews on the internet.  

The last Jedi has also been awarded ranks in metacritic.com ranking #37 best movie of 2017, #1 most talked about 2017, and #2 most shared movie of 2017.  Star wars went out with a boom for 2017 and fans now ait for the Episode 9 coming 2020
