Being recognized for leadership or academic growth is very important to most cadets in Phoenix Military Academy. Top Ten and Perfect Attendance are not the only ways that cadets can be recognized. From each LET level, two cadets are selected for Cadet of the Quarter. This award recognizes those individuals that demonstrated leadership and academic achievements. In addition, cadets have shown progress and continue to show integrity.
“Being Cadet of the Quarter was something I didn’t see coming and it was nice getting recognition for the hard work I have done,” said Christopher Alfaro.
Many cadets feel accomplished after this award with this award and others. In addition, being selected for Cadet of the Quarter there is a breakfast with Principal Wipachit for celebration. The breakfast celebration starts at 8:00 am in the conference room on Wednesday, November 8th with all LET levels winners.
“I felt confident in my accomplishment of being cadet of the quarter, I always felt that I had it in me to accomplish such a thing but I just had to go the extra step. The breakfast event with the principal had to be the best part of the recognition. We had a quick talk with the principal and the rest of the cadets of the quarter and then we had a nice breakfast of eggs, hash browns, conchas, and more,” said Morelia Lara.
