“ The Walking Dead” is a thrilling and suspenseful show that came out in 2010. It is a great show, because it really knows how to engage the audience. The zombies catch the viewer’s eye, because you pray and hope that your favorite character will not get killed. Overall, the show has a 91% rating, and is increasing more and more. I honestly believe that it deserves 100%, because it is the best.

The story follows a man by the name of Rick, who gets shot while trying to catch criminals. While he is in a coma, the world is taken over by zombies. When he wakes up, he does not  know what is going on and he cannot  find his family. Just as he was about to give up, a man saves him and teaches him how to fight the zombies off. Eventually he goes on his own way to find his family, however bigger problems arise  later in the series.

Some critics say it’s not what they want the show to be, as far as them just fighting zombies. However,  they do not realize in order for people to survive they might have to fight others who try to take what they have built away from them. The show is overall a great show, and I recommend it to anybody looking for a new show to watch. I give it a 5 out of 5.
