Baby Driver

Baby Driver

“Baby Driver” is one of the most exciting, intense, and interactive films of 2017, although not receiving the type of  attention it very well deserves. “Baby Driver”  follows a young getaway driver named Baby, played by Ansel Elgort, who is coerced into working for a crime boss named Doc, played by Kevin Spacey. After falling in love with a waitress named Debora, played by Lili James, Baby wants out of the crime lifestyle but is forced back in when a bank robbery goes awry.

“Baby Driver” has great driving scenes that will make you want to get into your Ford Focus and try to do some donuts in the theater parking lot. Also, “Baby Driver” is filled to the brim with great music such as “Bellbottoms” by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, “Brighton Rock” by Queen, “Hocus Pocus” by Focus and many more that are all beautifully choreographed in sync with those intense driving scenes.

Nothing like a movie with fast cars, including the Wrx and Dodge Challenger speeding, drifting and powersliding there way through amazing music. “Baby Driver” seems to finally be getting the attention it deserves now winning five awards and being nominated for two more.

Overall I give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars due to its intense scenes, great music, and over well put together storyline and plot.
