Harry Potter and The Cursed Child: A New Chapter To An Old Series.
Harry Potter and the cursed child is the newest installation in the Harry Potter series, but it brings a new twist. The 8th book which was adapted from a play of the same name doesn’t follow the title character this time but his son Albus Severus.
After Albus befriends Scorpius Malfoy he then gets sorted into the Slytherin house. This leads to many adventures for the two young boys and many feuds between Harry and his son. The boys go through several time traveling events and even come across Lord Voldemort. The authors were wise enough to not make the main antagonist Voldemort but someone new and even a bit more sinister.
Overall, the book was full of moments that made you happy, sad, or even mad. It redeem previously evil characters while also showing the not so good side of heroes. The book even followed a sci-fi theme of time travel was still very well written and is sure to make you have a different perspective on the Harry Potter series. I would give this book 4.5 out of 5 for being very emotional but not very original.
