OutLast is a first person survival horror game. OutLast took survival horror to a whole new level. One minute you are working for the Asylum, the next you are running for your life from a crazy cannibal doctor, while also trying to scavenge through the map for batteries for night vision camera.

This game is currently $20.00 in the Xbox store and $25.00 for the special edition which also comes with the Whistleblower DLC.  Which is a good deal for a bundle and rest ensure that it will be money well spent if you purchase this game. Outlast had made about $1 million dollars on the first day of release, which is impressive for a non-action survival horror game.

The engine that ran the graphics for this game was very well done. The colors of the blood really popped and the characters physical features had a very real look to them. Which only enhances the feeling of the game and builds the rush of being scared. The scares are certainly  unique unlike certain games where the scares can attend to be predictable and can feel the same. Outlast certainly takes survival horror to a whole new level.
