Quantum Break brings unique ideas

*Spoilers ahead, be warned*
Quantum Break is an action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on April 5th, 2016. The game features digital episodes that interact with the game based on the player’s choices.
The story takes place in Northeastern United States at a university. A time travel experiment goes bad. Jack Joyce, the main protagonist, and Paul Serene, the main antagonist, are caught in the middle of it. This time travel experiment accident grants the both of them time-based abilities. The two take different paths between good and evil and Jack has to fight Paul and his Monarch crew to stop time from running out.
I can say Remedy Entertainment has rightfully tackled the complexity of time and its difficulty. There’s even a small video clip of the main character’s eye movement in the video game so you can see they really broke it down to the core and for our entertainment.
Many people are saying they are having issues with the game, but I haven’t found anything exactly so it’s fresh to me. There’s a possibility of having a few bugs here and there, but the main objective is to see if the main point of the game works, which is the time mechanics. The controls are smooth and fine in order to play and makes it feel like a war against the antagonist.
Overall, I give Quantum Break 5 out of 5 stars because I have thoroughly enjoyed the game that Remedy Entertainment has created and you can tell that they really wanted you to enjoy it.
