El Clasico is the football game between Barcelona and all time rivals Real Madrid. Both are considered the two biggest teams in Spain and the world.

Barcelona will look to increase their lead at the top of the Spanish League while Real Madrid will hope to salvage points in hopes of catching up to the league leaders. Barcelona.

“The Clasico is the most viewed game in the world. I’m excited to see the clash of the two biggest European teams in the world,” said junior David Marroquin.

The last time these two sides met, Real Madrid was humiliated in their own stadium. Barcelona won the game with a very comfortable 4-0 win. Everybody expected a close game, but Barcelona proved to be superior to Real Madrid. Neymar and Iniesta each left with one goal while Suarez scored two to seal the game and beat Real Madrid.  

“Even though Barcelona are favorites to win again they still should be careful because of the quality players that Real Madrid has”, said junior Jonathan Muros.

Barcelona are considered the favorites to win the game due to the incredible form that they’ve been in. Barcelona are as of now undefeated in  39 games. An impressive feat considering the intensity of playing in Europe.

Real Madrid on the other hand come to this game with a new manager in Zinedine Zidane. From the 15 games that he has managed, he has only lost once. Real Madrid will hope to learn from their mistakes if they are to walk away with a victory.

Barcelona shouldn’t be too confident, despite being favorites, and approach this game with the same intensity as other games. Nevertheless, the game will surely be an incredible clash between the two biggest teams in world football.
