Narcos

Narcos

The show, Narcos, is a TV gangster drama series that relives the time in which drug trafficker, Pablo Escobar, was the most wanted by both the Colombian Government and the US DEA.

The series shows the point of views of the DEA officer, Steve Murphy, and Narco, Pablo Escobar.

At first it talks about the beginning of the Narcos, how they were just selling drugs around the neighborhood, but then they started to get a larger group and started to fight for land in other countries. With successful narcos comes corrupt governments. In order to transport drugs across territory, Narcos pay off police soldiers to let them pass without inspection. When police soldiers don’t let the Narcos do what they want, they kill the police soldiers’ family and/or they kill them. One of these narcos was Pablo Escobar. He was one of the most searched narco in all Colombia because of the fact that he killed a lot of people and had high drug trafficking sites. Throughout the series, the Colombian government and Pablo Escobar make deals back and forth, but these deals are then canceled because either one or the other group does not follow through.

I recommend this show for anyone who likes violence and people getting killed on camera. Keep in mind that this show is rated R, so you probably shouldn’t see this with your parents in the house if they aren’t cool with sex scenes and violence.
I would rate this show 9/10 because of the fact that it keeps you really entertained, but at times it gets boring because they talk about politics a lot.
