Rocket League is Good Old Fun

March 9, 2016
Rocket League is a physics-based vehicle soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix, released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on July 7, 2015. It was recently released on the Xbox One on February 17, 2016 after the succession of hitting 11 million downloads in total.
Players control a rocket-powered car and use it to hit a ball that is much larger than the cars towards the other team’s goal area to score points, in a way that resembles a soccer game, with elements reminiscent of a demolition derby. Players can use the miniature car to jump and hit the ball and can use speed boosts to accelerate your vehicle. You use all these abilities to help you win against your opponents in the match.
Rocket League is quite an entertaining game, for gamers and non-gamers alike. I say this game is for non-gamers because it can get exciting trying to score against the opposing team using a vehicle to do so. The controls are also not complicated and are to the point for you, but it’s hard to master the vehicle. The room can get very tense doing co-op with a family member or friend.
Overall, I give this Rocket League 5 out of 5 stars and I personally recommend it to anyone whom is looking to have a couch co-op session or for good fun.
