The 2016 MLS season is about to start in the beginning of March and many teams are putting the final touches to their team this year. A team that has to do a lot of adjusting has to be the Seattle Sounders.
Last Season, the Seattle Sounders only made it to the quarterfinals of the conference cup, after getting knocked out by LA Galaxy. Obafemi Martins was the main reason that the Seattle based club was able to get to the next round, and now that he has completed a move to China, it is down to the rookie Jordan Morris to fit the bill.

“ It was really hard to watch the poor form of the Seattle Sounders last season,” said junior Jonathan Muros “The only upside of last year was that Obafemi Martins was terrific and now he is being sold, and now they have to replace him”

Seattle have recently signed 21 year old Jordan Morris on a homegrown contract for 4 years. Morris, who many believe has the potential to be a quality player, has to to show everyone why Seattle signed him and how he was able to win the college cup with Stanford college.

“ Morris has proved at college level that he is able to succeed a team with a lot of expectations to silverware, so I don’t see why he couldn’t do the same with the Sounders,” said junior Jose Gonzalez

Seattle will have to give Morris playing time if they want him to mold into the player that will succeed Obafemi Martins.
