Bears Overcome the Pack

December 16, 2015
On Thanksgiving witnessed the revival of a long time rivalry which involves the Chicago Bears and Green bay Packers. The game took place in Lambeau field in which the Chicago Bears came out on top with a 17-13 point victory.
Quarterback Jay Cutler had a fantastic game by throwing over 200 yards and one touchdown, but most importantly not throwing an interception. On the other hand fans of Aaron Rodgers might become a bit worried considering he threw a crucial interception towards the end of the game.
Senior Kevin Becerra has been a longtime fan of the Green Bay Packers, “I was confident in Rodgers abilities throughout the game and although it was rough, I believe this team will do great things in the playoffs.” Said Senior Becerra.
The game took everyone by surprise with no one expecting the Chicago Bears coming out on top, “Jay Cutler actually showed emotion which surprised me, I wasn’t expecting him to have a big game.” said Senior Becerra.
It was a huge victory for the Chicago Bears considering that they are in the hunt for playoff contention. In the current standing the Minnesota Vikings are on top of the NFC North, and the Green Bay Packers are battling them for that position.
There were some players on the Bears team that contributed a lot to the victory, including Tracy Porter, Jeremy Langford, and Alshon Jeffrey. Porter contributed with an interception, Langford recorded 48 yards and one touchdown, and finally Jeffrey had 90 yards.
The season is nowhere near finished, and both of these teams will need to fight for their playoff lives.
