Chicago,one of the most populated cities, is threatened by ISIS to be the next city who is targeted.

“U.S intelligence officials intercepted messages that terror suspects may have planned attacks in Chicago, Toronto, and Geneva.” said Abc7 News Chicago.

ISIS is known as the Islamic State which is a  Wahhabi/Salafi jihadist Islamic extremist militant group.

France being one of the most friendliest countries in the world, has unfortunately been a victim of a terrorist attacks.

On November 13, 2015 Paris was attacked by the group ISIS who claimed responsibility for the events.

Three Suicide bombers struck near the State de Francein Saint- Denis, followed by suicide bombings and mass shootings at cafes, and restaurants in Paris.

The attackers managed to kill about 130 , including about 89 that were killed at the Bataclan theatre, where they took hostages before engaging in a standoff with the police. In total there were 368 injuries, with about 99 being serious.

With ISIS claiming other countries are up next, it is possible they could eventually attack the USA.

The question on everyone’s mind is whether Chicago is a main target due to the fact it is one of the most populated cities in the US.

“I think that we should be worried because we do live in one of the largest cities in the US and it makes us an easy target for a terrorist attack” said Junior Roberto Ocampo.

If an attack goes through, and ISIS succeeds to strike the US then there will be many changes in the US, and many precautions.

“There will be massive discrimination and lock-down of public places and Muslim people; Similar to 9/11” said Senior Davlin Smiley.

The questions remains on everyone’s mind, should Chicago citizens be worried about their city and safety?
